Meet Your Coach

Regardless of age and athletic abilities, Coach Jack Swain helps people unlock their potential for a stronger, more mobile, and active life.

A prior college athlete and a graduate from Michigan State University, Coach Swain holds a bachelors in Kinesiology with a minor in Health Promotion. He also holds a certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer, a Corrective Exercise and Sports Performance Specialist.

Jack has been a personal trainer since 2016 and began Swain Performance in 2021. Since then, Jack has welcomed people into his personal gym, trained people virtually from around the world, and gained Instagram fame for his real, down-to-earth, back-by-science, approach to fitness.

The Everyday Athlete Team

Online team atmosphere that cycles through four 8 week training blocks to maximize results. Includes unlimited access for coach questions and the support of the community.

In-Person Training

Are you located in Grand Rapids, Michigan? This 1:1 training option with fully-customized programming is right in your backyard. Fully equipped, cleaned & sanitized space, and a relaxed environment.
