Meet Your Coach

No matter your age or athletic background, Coach Jack Swain is dedicated to helping you unlock your potential for a stronger, more mobile, and active life.

A former college athlete and Michigan State University graduate, Jack earned his bachelor’s in Kinesiology with a minor in Health Promotion. He’s also certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Sports Performance Specialist.

Since 2016, Jack has been coaching individuals to move, feel, and perform better. In 2021, he founded Swain Performance, where he’s helped clients in person at his private gym and virtually around the world. His science-backed, no-nonsense approach to fitness has not only transformed lives but also gained social media recognition, where he shares real, practical advice to help people stay athletic for life.

Are you located in Grand Rapids, Michigan? This 1:1 training option with fully-customized programming is right in your backyard. Fully equipped, cleaned & sanitized space, and a relaxed environment.
